Courtney Wubs-Trivits

Lead Stylist / Director of The Grove + Evelyn Tribe

Courtney began her journey at 19 graduating from Pivot Point Academy, just outside of Chicago. Ever since she was a young girl, she has had a passion for the beauty industry. After obtaining her license, Courtney started working in a very prestigious salon in Chicago as a colorist. Finding herself in Delaware, she has worked locally in an Aveda salon as a Senior Stylist. She has had advanced training in numerous color lines, including Wella, Redken, Aveda, and Schwarzkopf. Also trained in So-Cap hair extensions, NovaLash eyelash extensions, Keratin, and Brazilian Blowouts.

In the times that she isn’t behind the chair, she is Momma to three wonderful and very busy children.

Courtney has dreamed of spreading her wings and and using her experience and knowledge of the industry to run and manage her own salon. She met Taryn and Lori, who have been friends and business partners for 13 years. Together they have a mutual desire to open and run the first blow dry loft in Sussex County! They are excited for this new adventure together and know it will be successful in the beautiful coastal town of Lewes, Delaware.

“I can honestly say I love what I do, choosing this career path has never felt like ‘job’. Seeing a client leave with a smile on their face and enhancing their confidence truly makes my heart happy! Working in a positive, classy, and happy environment is ultimately the vision of our Tribe.”

I have always been a hair person. Those who know me, know I’m not a huge makeup wearer, but I believe in a great hair style. If my hair doesn’t look good, I feel like I don’t look my best. I’ve been doing hair since my first daughter was born 18 years ago. One more daughter and a step-daughter later-I have done their blow-outs, homecoming and prom hair. Needless to say I have had a lot of practice. I also coached cheerleading for 7 consecutive years during which I completed too many updos, hot sets and braids to count. Come to G & E and let me give you a great wash, blow-out and style! I look forward to seeing you soon!

"I never knew hair was my thing until hair WAS my thing. As a mother of two daughters, I wanted to be someone that they admire and pursue my passion at the same time. One day my oldest sister, also a stylist, told me that I should give beauty school a try! That's exactly what I did. I went to the DE Cosmetology School and graduated in April 2019. I love art; drawing, painting, sewing...anything creative. I am so happy to show my creative side and be part of the G&E Tribe!"

"My first real passion for hair started when I was working at my first salon. Seeing my clients feel so refreshed and energetic after a nice head scrub and massage was like a light bulb flickering on for me. I knew this was the field I belonged in, so the next year, I started cosmetology school! I moved down to Rehoboth and I am so excited to join the amazing G&E Tribe! Ready to blow this season away with awesome blow outs and updos!"

We are excited to welcome Sarah to our TRIBE!!!  "I've had an interest for everything that had to do with art and hair since I was young.  I never knew I could make a career out of doing hair until I started watching YouTube videos in middle school/high school.  Going to cosmetology school was the best decision I've ever made.  It has given me confidence, ambition, passion and so much more.  I love making people feel beyond pleased and satisfied with their final hair result when they leave my chair.  I want my clients to love every second of their service from when they walk in to when they leave.  Everything about this industry made sense to me!  I love continuing to learn and expand my knowledge as much as possible.  For the first time I feel like I'm exactly where I belong."

Stylist Assistant/Facial Tension Release Specialist

I am fascinated by how the body has the ability to heal itself.   I love being able to help clients de-stress, come back into balance, and heal themselves.  This is what I feel called to do.

Hi, my name's Lexi and I was born and raised in Lewes.  I have always been interested in beauty and fashion, so when I decided to get my license, I knew this would be a great fit for me.  I believe all women should treat themselves and embrace their uniqueness that makes them different from other women.  The hair world is constantly changing and there's no such thing as too much eduation, so it always keeps things exciting!  I'm looking forward to being with this group of ladies and working in my hometown at Grove & Evelyn!
